How to fly higher - why variety helps to enhance your cannabis experience

We’ll cut straight to the point – if you’re smoking the same strain all the time and not feeling it like you used to, that’s no surprise. 

The reality is, your cannabis tolerance can become dull over time for a few different reasons: how frequently you consume, the variety of your consumption, and the quality of your cannabis. If you feel like your tolerance is increasing, here are some things you can do to stay sensitive.

  1. Take a break. Taking a week away from weed can help your body flush out excess cannabinoids and reactivate dormant cannabinoid receptors. These are often called “t-breaks” and can be very effective.
  2. Switch things up. Mixing strain types, THC percentages, cannabis quality, and formats can keep your body guessing. If you’re consistently introducing the same cannabinoids and THC-to-CBD percentages, your body becomes familiar with the experience. Avoid this by keeping your experience interesting.
  3. If you’re planning to consume all day long, consider “backloading” your THC content. You’ll always be most sensitive to the effects of THC during your first dose, so keep your first dose small and level up as the day goes on, you’ll be able to continue feeling the effects.
